This piece started as a classic grandfather clock before I stripped it down to raw wood,
then rebirthed it by hand with Posca paint pens.
Every line is freehand. No tape. No stencils.
The lighting shifts at the touch of a button
from clean white to ambient color to full spectrum.
I wanted it to feel like stepping into a temple…
but in a hallway.
Or by the kitchen door.
Anywhere you might forget to look.
That’s the goal with a lot of my work:
To bring awe and reverie into the places we pass through every day.
